President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf left for London, Great Britain recently to chair a high level UN panel meeting on the MDGs.

President Johnson-Sirleaf left the Liberian Capital, Monrovia, Tuesday, October 30, 2012.

According to our Executive Mansion Correspondent, the Liberian leader  joined other prominent world leaders at the meeting to examine what has happened to the MDGs during the last 12-years.

In London, the Panel also examined what could be done to revive the MDGs during the next three years.  The MDGs Post 2015 Status Agenda  was set at the London gathering.

The Executive Mansion Press Secretary, Jerolenmick Piah, made the disclosure in Monrovia Tuesday.

While in London, President Johnson-Sirleaf  chaired two meetings, on human development, and the other on jobs, livelihood and targeting.

The high level Panel  was co-chaired by Britain Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, and Indonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
