The Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) has received a new fleet of vehicles to ease staff mobility challenges and strengthen its operational capacity across Liberia.
The vehicles are designated for directors, county commanders, and sectional heads to improve the movement of personnel and support the effective discharge of their duties.
Speaking during the arrival of the vehicles, the Deputy Commissioner General for Administration, Nelson Wolo, said:” The procurement was made possible through the Service’s budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026”.
Wolo said:” The vehicles would provide essential logistical support to key personnel to enable them to carry out their responsibilities more efficiently and professionally”.
The Deputy Director General of the LIS noted that improving staff’s mobility is part of the Service’s efforts to strengthen its operations and enhance the effectiveness of officers in the field.
