Yellow Machines Board Confirms Second Batch of Earth-Moving Equipment…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Chairperson of the Yellow Machines Board of Authority, Brownie Samukai, has confirmed that the second batch of earth-moving equipment will arrive in Liberia soon.

Samukai said,” A total of 137 machines have already been received and positioned at the Camp Ware Barracks in Careysburg, where they are being prepared for deployment”.

He noted that an additional 168 machines are currently within the sub-region, but have experienced slight shipping delays.

Samukai assured that once they arrived, the equipment would be immediately distributed across the country to begin operations.

According to Samukai, the machines will be deployed across all fifteen counties, with nineteen operational hubs established to manage activities.

At the same time, the Liberian Government is warning against the spread of misinformation regarding the country’s electricity supply.

Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah clarified that the recent power reduction from Guinea is due to maintenance, not political tension.

Minister Piah said,” Liberia continues to receive electricity through the West African Power Pool, including supply from Cote d’Ivoire.

Meanwhile, the information minister is urging citizens and leaders to verify information and promote peace, emphasizing that national unity remains critical for development.
