French Embassy Refutes Claims…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The French Embassy near Monrovia has refuted claims suggesting that French President Emmanuel Macron denied a request from President Joseph Boakai for France to intervene in the ongoing Liberia-Guinea situation.

The Embassy was responding to a report recently published by FrontPage Africa, which alleged that President Macron turned down President Boakai’s request.

The statement clarified that the French Ambassador Isabelle Le Guellec did not confirm any communication between the two Presidents regarding the issue.

It further emphasized that at no time did President Joseph Boakai request France’s intervention in the ongoing border dispute.
