QNET Meets Liberian Journalists at New Year Media Webinar, Outlines 2026 Plan to Combat Misinformation and Scams

QNET, an international direct selling company, today, Thursday, 26th February 2026, outlined its comprehensive plans for 2026 during a New Year Webinar with about 30 Liberian journalists from across the country.

The Media Webinar was attended by seasoned Liberian journalists, especially Editors of key media organisations.

It was moderated by David Yates, a veteran journalist with the Daily Observer Newspaper, who has previously travelled to QNET’s Head Office in Malaysia to investigate the company’s operations and establish its legitimacy.

QNET revealed that it is aware of the negative tag on its name in Liberia and of the misuse of its brand and products by individuals who deliberately deceive others for their own selfish gains.

QNET reiterated that it is integrating robust anti-fraud measures with expanded public awareness creation, community development and empowerment programs across West Africa, especially in Liberia.

Building on a year of significant achievements in 2025, which included strategic collaborations with law enforcement to combat fraud and human trafficking, QNET is setting clear anti-scam priorities for 2026.

In other parts of West Africa, such as Ghana, QNET has successfully partnered with the country’s anti-graft government agency, Economic and Organised Crime Office, EOCO, leading to the arrest of hundreds of people misusing the name and products of QNET across Ghana and some victims were rescued.

Cherif Abdoulaye, Deputy Regional General Manager for QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, highlighted the crux of QNET’s efforts: “In 2026, we are integrating our efforts to combat fraud, protect vulnerable individuals and empower communities to thrive through CSR initiatives.

We believe that genuine economic opportunity, robust consumer protection, and impactful social programs are not separate endeavours but rather interwoven threads that build a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous society.

We are sending a strong signal to fraudsters and people misusing our name; we are coming after you with the law.”

QNET also looks forward to hosting an even larger V-Africa event in 2026 in Accra, which will serve as a key platform for entrepreneurship training and economic development, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to empowering individuals and contributing positively to regional economies.

QNET is a prominent, legitimate direct selling company offering a wide range of health, wellness, and lifestyle products via www.qnet.net.

With a presence in over 100 countries, QNET’s mission is to empower individuals to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams while fostering sustainable community development.

The company is committed to ethical business practices, product quality, and consumer protection. QNET does not promote illegal migration, fake jobs or fraudulent recruitment exercises.
