MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Managing Director of the National Port Authority (NPA), Sekou Dukuly, has advanced discussions with the Port of Antwerp International to modernise Liberia’s ports.
Dukuly also engaged senior officials from the Port of Antwerp International to explore the transformation of Liberia’s port architecture.
The discussions, held on the margins of the Liberia-EU Business Forum in Brussels, Belgium, focused on moving beyond imaginary advice to achieve measurable, institutional change.
The dialogue also centred on concrete areas of collaboration, including governance modelling, operational efficiency, and the establishment of robust capacity transfer mechanisms to empower Liberian professionals.
Managing Director Sekou Dukuly underscored Liberia’s ambition with clarity and purpose, emphasising that the Freeport of Monrovia, the Port of Buchanan, and the Port of Greenville are critical economic lifelines.
