Bishop Cockings Donates Assorted Materials to Support Vulnerable Children, Students in Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The President and Founder of His Church Charity, Bishop Trevor Stephen Cockings, has donated assorted relief and educational materials to support vulnerable children and students in Liberia.

His Church Charity is a United Kingdom-based humanitarian Organization, whose founder has been a longtime friend of President Joseph Boakai.

Items donated include shoes, sneakers, slippers, clothing, jerseys, and essential school supplies for underserved communities and students in public schools.

According to a release, the donation is part of the government’s Back to My Classroom” initiative, a project aimed at reducing poverty-related barriers to education across the country.

The initiative is being implemented by the Ministries of Gender and Education as well as the project management team, to ensure transparency and accountability.

Meanwhile, distribution of the donated items has commenced in Rivercess, Grand Bassa, and other counties in the targeted thirty-six schools across Liberia.
