MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Intellectual Property Office (LIPO) 2026 first quarterly workshop gets underway in Monrovia this week.
The event, which runs from Wednesday through Friday, February 18, 2026, will bring together creators, entrepreneurs, and small business owners, among others.
In an ELBC interviewon Monday, LIPO Deputy Director General for Copyright, Clarence Cole, said the event aims to educate those in the creative and business sectors on the importance of Intellectual Property (IP).
He noted that creating constant awareness among members of the creative and business sectors will enable artists and business owners protect their Intellectual Property Assets.
The LIPO Deputy Director General for Copyright added that the workshop will provide new opportunities for artists and entrepreneurs to benefit from their work.
