Govs. of Liberia and United States Renew Commitment to Enhance Bilateral Relations…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Governments of Liberia and the United States have renewed their commitment to enhanced bilateral relations for the benefit of both nations and peoples.

The commitment was made recently during a meeting between United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Michael Waltz, and Liberia’s Foreign Minister, Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, in the U.S.

The two officials discussed upcoming opportunities working together on the UN Security Council, economic diplomacy, critical minerals, and changing the way both nations carry on development aid to benefit the Liberian industry.

Ambassador Waltz and Minister Nyant, in separate social media posts, described the meeting as productive.

U.S.-Liberia relations are long-standing, rooted in shared history, with the United States supporting Liberia’s democratic progress, economic growth, and stability.
