GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Grand Bassa County Representative, Alfred Flomo, says the inclusion of the Bassa-Gio Road Corridor in the Public Works Ministry’s plan is a reality of the government’s Agenda.
Representative Flomo said he is thankful for the inclusion of such a road corridor, which was made by President Joseph Boakai through the Public Works Minister, Roland Giddings.
The Grand Bassa County Lawmaker said the one hundred and seventy-six-mile road connects Grand Bassa County with Bong and Nimba Counties.
Representative Flomo said the road corridor is also a major transit for trade and commerce for businesspeople traveling from neighboring Guinea and the Ivory Coast to Liberia.
He noted that over the years, past governments and companies have abandoned that road corridor and included it in the Public Works Ministry’s plan in fulfillment of the President’s campaign promises.
