MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has made significant progress in the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) 2026 Scorecard, underscoring the Liberian Government’s continued commitment to transforming the country.
MCC is a U.S. government agency that provides foreign aid to countries that demonstrate commitment in key areas, including good governance, transparency, accountability, and rule of law, among others.
According to MCC, Liberia passed in twelve of its indicators, including Control of Corruption, Government Accountability, women in the economy, health expenditures, and market competitiveness.
It named personal freedom, freedom to information, chronic disease control, property and land rights, regulatory quality, and inflation as indicators that Liberia also passed.
Meanwhile, the Liberian Government has expressed excitement over the Millennium Challenge Corporation 2026 in Liberia.
