Three Liberia Immigration Service Officers Heads for South Africa…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Three officers of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) are on their way to South Africa to participate in a one-month practical training in drone operation and surveillance technology.

The LIS described the initiative as a significant milestone towards the Government of Liberia’s ongoing efforts to improve the Security Sector of the country.

The LIS also disclosed that the drone operation and surveillance training reflect the entity’s strong commitment to embracing innovation.

It said,” The move is a dream come through, as the deployment of modern tools will enhance the broader management and security system of Liberia”.

Meanwhile, the Liberia Immigration Service says the drone operation and surveillance technology training will equip the officers to monitor the borders of Liberia.
