MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A twenty-five-year-old man identified as Franklin Freeman Tinna has been sent to jail for allegedly stabbing to death Rachel Urey in the Iron Bridge Community, Mount Barclay.
According to the police, defendant Franklin Tinna committed the act on October 18, 2025, when the victim went to fetch for frog.
The investigation said Rachel passed through Franklin’s yard and allegedly pointed a torchlight in his face, which caused him to be alarmed and annoyed, leading to a physical altercation.
The investigation said Rachel later left the scene and returned with a shovel to retaliate with it, but was met with stiff resistance from Franklin Tinna, who had a knife and allegedly stabbed her in her left back.
Rachel was immediately rushed to the Graceland Community Clinic, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Meanwhile, a fifteen-man coroner jury constituted examined the remains of the deceased, who indicated that there were signs of violence before death.
