Judge Feika Closes Sky Int’l Insurance Company, Incarcerate Two Executives at Monrovia Central Prison

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘C’ Presiding Judge Ousman Feika has shut down Sky International Insurance Company and incarcerated two of its executive officials at the Monrovia Central Prison.

Joseph Bennett and Michael Sheriff were jailed on Thursday, October 24, 2025.

The officials’ arrest and detention were triggered by a contempt charge from the Court for failing to surrender suspected criminal Francis Kollie for prosecution after they served as surety for him with the assurance to turn him over when needed by the Court.

Our Judicial Reporter said that defendant Kollie, who is indicted for allegedly stealing over 200 thousand United States Dollars from Madam Beatrice Rosario, has reportedly gone into hiding to avoid being prosecuted.
