Liberia Nat’l Police in Grand Gedeh County Charged, Forwarded to Court Three Persons with Multiple Crimes

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) in Grand Gedeh County have charged and forwarded to court three persons with multiple crimes.

The suspects, identified as Chris Gbarway, Issac Blow, and George Brown, were charged with gang rape, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.

They were arrested on September 10, 2025, after the two alleged survivors reported the situation to the police in the area on September 9, this year.

The survivors told police investigators that they were sexually abused by the three suspects, including three additional men who are said to be on the run.

Meanwhile, the two survivors, aged 16 and 15, are currently seeking medical treatment, while the arrested suspects are currently at the Zwedru Palace of Correction awaiting court’s trial.
