Ministry of State Holds Two-day Cabinet Focal Persons Capacity Building Workshop

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of State, through the office of the Secretariat, will have a two-day Cabinet Focal Persons Capacity Building Workshop in Monrovia beginning Monday, September 1, 2025.

The training, which is expected to focus on Cabinet Documentation and Decision Support, will be held under the theme:” Strengthening Policy Implementation”.

According to a release, the event is designed to strengthen coordination across the government’s entities by equipping designated focal persons from ministries, agencies, and commissions with the tools and knowledge required to effectively support cabinet processes.

The release underscores the importance of the selected cabinet focal persons, who they believe play a critical role in ensuring that policy submissions, decisions, and follow-up actions are timely, accurate, and aligned with national priorities.

Key topics to be highlighted during the exercise include Policy Documentation and Quality Assurance, Decision Tracking and Implementation, and Internal Ministerial Coordination, among others.
