Chief Justice Gbeisay Reassigns Two Circuit Court Judges…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Chief Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay has recalled the August term legal assignments of two Circuit Courts’ Judges with a re-assignment.

The Fifth Judicial Circuit Court Resident Judge, Ousman Feika, was recalled from his Circuit to go to the First Judicial Circuit of Criminal Court ‘C’ in Montserrado County.

While First Judicial Circuit of Criminal Court ‘C’ Resident Judge Blamo Dixon leaves his Circuit and surfaces at the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court in Grand Cape Mount County.

Chief Justice Gbeisay’s decision was contained in separate communications dated August 26, this year, to the two Judges.

This is the second time that the   Chief Justice has recalled the August Term legal assignments for Judges, which were previously made by his predecessor after he assumed office as Chief Justice.

In another development, murder suspect Bill Jallah, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, pleaded guilty to the murder charge levied against him.

Suspect Bill’s guilty plea was a result of the indictment drawn against him, which led to his guilty plea.

The murder suspect was arrested last December after he stabbed his girlfriend, Princess Doe Wesseh, seven times with a silver knife at Fast Nickel entertainment adjacent to Kool Fm, when he invited her to said place.

In court, he waived a jury trial and asked for a bench trial, meaning that the Judge will serve as both judge and jury.

Meanwhile, the case is scheduled for Thursday, Aug 28, at Criminal Court B, at the Temple of Justice.
