MONROVIA, LIBERIA-ECOWAS Parliament Chair on Political Affairs, Peace, Security and African Peer Review Mechanism, Senator Edwin Snowe, has hailed the Liberian Government for its investment in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse.
Senator Snowe said, “The government is investing hugely to ensure the menace is tackled and Liberians affected are rehabilitated and reintegrated into the society”.
The Bomi County Senator was speaking on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, to several disadvantaged youths at the Center Street Cemetery, when members of the ECOWAS Delegation in Liberia visited the area.
He reaffirmed his resolve to work along with the Government, ECOWAS, and all other partners to ensure Liberia is a drug-free nation.
Senator Snowe believes that for Liberia to move forward, there is a need for continuous investment in disadvantaged youths in the Country.
