Water Aid-Liberia, Partners, Dedicate Modern Latrine Facility in Rural Montserrado County

MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-Water Aid-Liberia, in partnership with Sustainable Urban and Rural Integrated Development Organization (SURIDO), has dedicated a modern latrine facility at the Nyhen Public School in Todee District, Rural Montserrado County.

The six-room project is aimed at curtailing the longstanding constraint that students at the school face, as well as improving the practice of sanitation.

According to SURIDO Project Officer, Julius Folleh, the project is the two organizations’ way of buttressing the efforts of the government to improve public schools across the country.

Mr. Folleh told our Correspondent that the facility will not only improve sanitation at the school, but also serve as a pathway for recruiting more students for the next academic year.

Meanwhile, Todee District Education Officer, Prince Foday, thanked the two organizations for the project and committed his office to working collaboratively with both organizations.
