Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa Delegation in Liberia…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A high-power Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) delegation is in Liberia on a three-day data and analysis mission that would attract more investors to the Agriculture Sector of the country.

According to AGRA Head of Data and Analytics, Paul Thangata, Liberia is a country with rich potential, and as such, it is important to attract investors to the country’s Agriculture Sector to enhance economic growth.

Speaking on Monday, March 31, 2025, in an ELBC interview in Congo Town, Dr. Thangata praised the Liberian Government for the ongoing strides to improve food and nutrition security in the country.

He urged the Ministry of Agriculture to formulate data that will showcase Liberia’s rich potential at AGRA’s upcoming convention in early September this year in Senegal.

The Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa’s Head of Data and Analytics then assured the public of AGRA’s commitment to leveraging opportunities to alleviate poverty in poor African nations.

Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Alexander Nuetah said:” The arrival of the AGRA delegation to Liberia signifies the Liberian Government’s commitment to enhance food production in the country.”

Dr. Nuetah, on behalf of the government, expressed gratitude to the delegation for choosing Liberia to participate in the body’s upcoming event.

Minister Nuetah said:” The Liberian Government stands ready to collaborate with AGRA in leveraging opportunities that will empower smallholder farmers and create jobs for Liberians in the Agriculture Sector.”

He expressed confidence that the upcoming event in Senegal will accrue more investments for Liberia to improve agricultural activities in the country.

Agriculture Minister Alexander Nuetah spoke on Monday, March 31, 2025, when the AGRA delegation visited the Ministry of Agriculture.
