GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA- A four-year-old minor, Laurence Dahn, has drowned in a pit in Grand Bassa County.

The aunt of the boy, Hanna Samuka, told our correspondent that he was discovered in the pit, which was reportedly dug by his uncle during the morning hours for a latrine purpose.

Our Correspondent quotes Hanna as saying, before the death of the boy, he left the house, unknown to them, while it was raining.

Meanwhile, Medical reports indicate that the four-year-old child died upon arrival at the hospital.

He has since been buried.
