MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has provided clarity regarding the 2025 National Budget allocation for the Office of the Speaker.

Recently, there was misinformation suggesting that the Speaker’s budget amounts to five million US Dollars.

Bue addressing the issue recently, the Director of Press at the House of Representatives, Robert Haynes, said:” The approved budget for the Office of the Speaker is over i.5 million US Dollars.”

Mr. Haynes described the statement as false and misleading, saying that under Speaker Richard Koon’s leadership, the House of Representatives remains steadfast in its commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.

He urged the public to rely on verified information and official sources to avoid being misled by rumors.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has committed to upholding the principles of good governance, ensuring accountability, and prioritizing the needs of the Liberian people.
