MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has termed as “misleading” information trending on social media regarding the alleged rejection of Liberia’s elected representatives to the ECOWAS Parliament.
The House clarified that it has not received any official communication from the ECOWAS Parliament.
It warned those spreading such misinformation to desist immediately.
On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, members of the House voted Representatives Augustine Chiewolo, Samson Wiah, and Moima Briggs-Mensah to the ECOWAS Parliament.
The House clarified that those elected representatives will adequately represent the Liberian delegation at the ECOWAS Parliament in Abuja, Nigeria.
