Integrity Watch-Liberia Wants All Hands-on Deck in the Fight against Corruption…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Integrity Watch-Liberia has stressed the need for all hands to get on desk to harness efforts aimed at curbing corruption, increase accountability and strengthen good governance.

The Executive Director of Integrity Watch-Liberia, Harold Aidoo, said:” Combined effort is needed to ensure that the ordinary people benefit from the natural resources in the country in the wake of USAID drawdown.”

Mr. Aidoo spoke Wednesday in Monrovia at a day-long policy dialogue on strengthening inclusive governance and accountability in Liberia’s natural resource sector.

The policy dialogue was sponsored by Irish Aid and brought together participants from civil society, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and the National Bureau of Concession, among others.
