Liberia Nat’l Police Cautions Motorcyclists…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police is cautioning motorcyclists against acts of violence and confrontation.

The LNP also warned motorcyclists across the Country to denounce activities that could disrupt public order.

The statement from the Police is in reaction to ongoing discussions between some motorcyclists to protest against LNP’s recent no-go-zone restriction.

In a release issued on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the LNP said though it recognizes the constitutional rights of citizens to protest, such right should be carried out without public demonstrations.

Meanwhile, the Liberia National Police is urging motorcyclists intending to protest in the Country, to formally notify the Ministry of Justice.
