Bukonjadeh Group of Companies Threatens Legal Action against Some Lawmakers

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Bukonjadeh Group of Companies has threatened to take legal action against some members of the 55th National Legislature who are indebted to the company and refused to pay.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Elton Johns, the action of some lawmakers is embarrassing to Liberian businesses, including Bukonjadeh.

Mr. Johns disclosed on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Monrovia after several efforts to ensure that the indebted lawmakers meet their obligation failed.

Mr. Johns who failed to name the indebted lawmakers noted that the government officials’ actions have the propensity to undermine Liberian businesses.

He stressed the need for Liberian businesses to be patronized as a means of improving the local economy.
