Liberia Immigration Service to Construct Mini Residential Units in Maryland County

MARYLAND COUNTY, The Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) is expected to construct a mini residential unit in Maryland County.

The project is intended to address pressing residential issues faced by several officers of the Immigration Service in the county.

According to our Correspondent, the authority of the LIS has confirmed that the project has been procured, and ongoing negotiations are underway for the provision of land to commence the work.

Our Correspondent said the provision of land for the proposed project is the responsibility of the local county authority, stressing that it is exerting efforts to meet the Liberia Land Authority to handle the matter.

Meanwhile, the cost of the project is yet to be disclosed by the LIS, but members of the sector have expressed excitement over the project.
