Maryland County Sen. Biney Donates 9000 Btu Split Unit…

MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-Maryland County Senator James Biney has donated a Nine Thousand Btu split unit air conditioner to Phoenix FM, Tubman University’s radio.

The donation comes in the wake of a downturn at Phoenix FM as a result of a failure of the air conditioner which cools the station’s transmitter.

Senator Biney expressed concern about the station being off-air–adding that it has served the county for close to a decade.

He also highlighted that Phoenix FM is the only functioning community radio station in the entire Harper District, and the need to have it back on air as soon as possible cannot be over-emphasized.

Senator Biney has, meanwhile, challenged the management of the station to continue on its path of balanced and objective reporting, as it has been doing over the years.

Receiving the donation, Phoenix FM Manager Rocheford Gardiner expressed profound thanks and appreciation to Senator James Biney and promised to continue working with objectivity without fear nor Favor.
