Liberia’s Defense Ministry Unveils Armed Forces Day’s Activities

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of National Defense has unveiled a lineup of activities leading to the February 11 Armed Forces Day celebration.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Newsline,” the AFL Chief of Staff Davidson Forleh said:” The day will include future sports, parades, medical outreach, cleaning up exercise, and thanksgiving service, among others.”

According to the Army Chief of Staff, this year’s celebration theme is “Sustaining Peace and Security through Stakeholder Engagement: The Role of The Armed Forces of Liberia.”

Meanwhile, Chief of Staff Forleh disclosed that Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio is expected to grace the February 11 Armed Forces Day celebration.
