Liberian Senate Turns Over Late Sen. Johnson’s Seat…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has turned over the seat of the late Prince Johnson to the people of Nimba County.

The seat was immediately tied with black cloth and purple ribbon, following his death last November.

During the removal of the cloth, Senate Pro-temp Nyonblee Karngar-Lawrence said:” The people of Nimba County have requested for the chair used by the late Senator to be placed in their museum.”

The chair was presented to Nimba County Senator Nyan Twayen, for onward submission to the people of Nimba County.

At the same time, the Liberian Senate has replaced Senator Nyan Twayen’s seat with the seat of fallen Senator Prince Johnson.
