Twenty-Seven Nurses to Depart Liberia…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Twenty-seven nurses are set to depart Liberia for Nursing Leadership and Management Training in India, from January 26 to February 8, 2025.

 According to a Health Ministry release issued recently, the training will focus on ethics and compassionate patient care, aiming to enhance nursing practices in Liberia.

The training opportunity is in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Indian Embassy, reflecting a shared commitment to improving healthcare standards in Liberia.

Health Minister Dr. Louise Kpoto, in the release extended appreciation to the Government of India for facilitating the capacity-building opportunity, emphasizing the strong and growing partnership between the two nations.

Dr. Kpoto then encouraged the nurses to make the most of the opportunity by focusing on their lessons and acquiring skills to improve healthcare delivery in Liberia.

During their farewell remarks, the nurses expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Health, the Government of Liberia, and the people of India for the opportunity, and pledged to return equipped to make meaningful contributions to the health sector.
