Transport Ministry Warns against impersonators…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Transport Ministry has clarified that it is the only government institution charged with regulating transport activities in Liberia.

The clarification comes amid widespread social media advertisements reportedly carried out by some individuals claiming responsibility for providing transport regulatory services.

Speaking on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at a news conference in Monrovia, the Acting Director of Press and Public Affairs at the Ministry of Transport, Foday Sheriff, cautioned those involved to desist.

However, Mr. Sheriff is urging the public not to do business with individuals whom the Ministry of Transport does not authorize.

The acting Director of Press and Public Affairs said:” The public is advised to visit the Transport Ministry Head Office in Monrovia or Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town for vehicle registrations or related businesses.
