Justice Ministry to Launch Nat’l Anti-Mob Violence Campaign

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Justice has begun preparations for the launch of a National anti-mob violence campaign across the Country.

The campaign, expected to begin next month, will bring together stakeholders, government officials, and law enforcement officers among others.

Justice Minister Cllr. Oswald Tweh said:” The exercise is intended to educate citizens in various parts of the Country about the danger of mob violence, and how to disengage from said act.”

Cllr. Tweh said:” Violence tends to threaten the progress of the state, cause severe injuries, and trigger the destruction of properties among others.”

The Justice Minister and Attorney General of Liberia, however, urged citizens to shun every form of violence and work together in the interest of the Country.

Minister Tweh spoke Thursday during a simulcast on ELBC Radio.
