Senator Bartekwa Wants Gov. of Liberia Prioritize Southeastern Roads

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Grand Kru County Senator Numene Bartekwa wants the Liberian Government to prioritize the construction of Southeaster roads amid international support.

Senator Bartekwa named the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Fund, IMF Credit Facility Fund, and the World Bank’s contribution as some of the international supports.

He said:” Road connectivity is key in the development of any nation, and as such, prioritizing the Southeastern roads will be a milestone.”

Senator Bartekwa added that the people of Grand Kru County and other counties in the South East have suffered a lot due to the lack of a good road network.

The Grand Kru County Senator at the same time called on the government to ensure that the roads are paved to boost economic development across the country.
