Three to Face Prosecution for Extracting Corpse’s Private Part in Kakata

MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Kakata, Margibi County, have charged and sent to court three men for allegedly destroying a grave and extracting the private part of a woman in the county.

 The three suspects Joseph Dolo, James Flomo, and Harrison Binda, were charged with Abuse of Corpse and Theft of Property.

According to ELBC Margibi County Correspondent, the men were recently arrested by the police following an investigation into the matter.

He said the destruction of the woman’s grave was reported to the police by her nephew.

Meanwhile, residents of the county have expressed sadness over the situation and called on the Liberian Government to take decisive actions against the suspects.
