Karnplay Comprehensive Health Center Seeks Budgetary Increment

KARNPLAY, NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Officer-In-Charge of the Karnplay Comprehensive Health Center in Nimba County has launched a passionate plea for budgetary increment to the facility.

Mr. Festus Yormie said:” The current allotment to the facility in the tone of twenty thousand US Dollars cannot handle the operational cost of the center.”

Mr. Yormie noted that an allotment of at least one hundred and fifty thousand US Dollars will ensure the full operations of the facility, adding that the patients and services rendered at the Karnplay Comprehensive Health Center are dying in need of support.

He spoke recently in Karnplay, Nimba County, during an acquaintance meeting with Representative Nehker Gaye.

The Officer-In-Charge used the occasion to rally members of the Nimba County Legislative Caucus to lead efforts to champion the budgetary increment of the Karnplay Comprehensive Health Center.

Meanwhile, the citizens of District 3, Nimba County, have hailed Representative Gaye for the ongoing developments across the district.

According to them, these ongoing initiatives are paramount for the forward march of the district and recounted how these ongoing projects will significantly improve access to basic social facilities in the district.

According to them, Representative Gaye has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a passion for developing District-3, Nimba County.

During the ceremony, Representative Gaye said the projects, when completed, will greatly contribute to the infrastructure outlook of the district and ensure access to public facilities.

According to him, citizens’ participation and ownership are critical in championing local development, and cautioned his constituents to take ownership of the ongoing developments.

The projects are in fulfillment of campaign promises and an effort to develop the district.

Key among them include the construction of the Karnplay City Hall, an elementary school in Kampala, a market facility, town halls, and an office for elders.
