MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Gender Ministry, in collaboration with partners, is expected to launch the reactivation of the One-One Six Call Center of Sexual Gender Based Violence in Monrovia.
The Wednesday, December 11 launch will provide unhindered access to essential services for survivors of SGBV across the country.
The Deputy Gender Minister, Laura Golakeh, said:” The launch of the Call Center is a major boost in the fight against SGBV, especially in the rural areas.”
Minister Golakeh also disclosed that the Gender Ministry and partners are assessing safe homes and One-Stop Centers to ensure real-time services are provided to survivors of SGBV.
