Pres. Boakai Makes Additional Submissions in Gov.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has made additional nominations in Government, affecting the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) and the National Commission on Small Arms.

Those nominated include Sebastian Farr, Deputy Director for Operations and Gwee Porkpah, Deputy Director for Administration at the LDEA.

The President also appointed Interim Management Team of the LEC.

President Boakai named Thomas Gonkerwon as Interim Managing Director, Eric Augustine Fredericks, Interim Deputy Managing Director for Administration, Emile Karnga, Interim Deputy Managing Director for Operations, and Dele Shobayo, Interim Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services at the LEC.

Meanwhile, the President has constituted the Board of the National Commission on Arms.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate, where applicable.

President Joseph Boakai called on appointed officials of the Government of Liberia to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to country.
