Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, Partners to Begin Nat’l TVET Job Fair 2024

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministries of Education and Youth and Sports along with its partners are expected to commence the National TVET Job Fair 2024, shortly.

The initiative geared towards strengthening technical and vocational education through the promotion of youth employment.

Speaking on Monday, November 25,2024, on the Bumper Show on ELBC Radio, Assistant Youth and Sports Minister for TVET, Collins Tamba, said:” UNIDO has received funding from the EU and the Government of Sweden to implement the Youth Rising Project.”

Minister Collins stressed that with supports from its partners, the Job Fair exercise will connect employers and job seekers in the TVET discipline.

He said:” The essence pf the fair is to bridge the gap in job acquisition and connecting employers and highly skilled professionals.”

The Assistant Youth and Sports Minister wants young people maximize the opportunity to leverage their career through the provision of jobs.
