Police Arrest Kpandu Construction Company’s Boss

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police in Rivercess County have arrested the Manager of Kpandu Construction Company.

Hamed Horton was arrested for reportedly defaulting the local government’s contract awarded his company.

The company is a leading partner to the local government in the county.

In March of last year, the local authority awarded some contracts to the company, but it has since failed to deliver, despite allegedly receiving about fifty-five percent of the contract funds.

ELBC Rivercess County Correspondent disclosed that Mr. Horton was arrested in Monrovia and taken to the Cestos Prison, after abandoning the work for months.

The Kpandu Construction Company’s Boss will be transferred to the Rivercess Circuit Court for trial, because the matter is beyond the legal jurisdiction of the Magisterial Court in the area.
