MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Members of the Majority Block at the House of Representatives have elected Representative Richard Koon as Speaker of that August Body.

It followed the removal of Cllr. Fonati Koffa by over fifty members of the House on Thursday, November 21,2024, at the Capitol.

In line with Article 49 of the Constitution and Rule 9.1 of the House, the Committee’s report said Representative Koffa has violated all provisions and declared him unfit and incompetent for said post in the National Legislature.
