MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has paid tribute to fallen Lofa County former Senator, Sumo Kupee.

Speaking in the Rotuda of the National Legislature on Tuesday, November 12,2024, where the body of the former lawmaker was laid in state, Senate Pro-Tempore, Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, said:” The late Kupee will ever be remembered for his dedication and commitment to public service. The Lofa County former Senator served adviser and mentor to several freshman lawmakers, adding value to the National Legislature.”

The Grand Bassa County Senator described the death of Senator Kupee as an irreparable loss and called on his family to take solace in God.
