18-Month-Old Child Drowns in Open Well…

LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Reports from Lofa County say an 18-month-old child has died after falling in an open well.

ELBC Lofa County Correspondent said the incident happened on November 8, 2024, in the New Life Community in Voinjama City.

A fifteen-men jury setup by the Liberia National Police, Lofa County Detachment, has reported that little William Seapo died as a result of drowning.

The parents of the deceased, Peterson Seapo, Korpo Kollie, and one Anthony Baysah are currently undergoing investigation regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, residents of Voinjama are calling on the City Cooperation to enforce the closure of open wells across the city.
