BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Family members of a caustic victim are appealing to humanitarian and goodwill individuals for support to take care of their ailing relative.

According to ELBC Correspondent, Seth Sando, a resident of Bomi County, mistakenly drank caustic for water when he had gone to visit some family members in Tubmanburg.

According to the victim’s brother, Boima Sando, his brother’s health is deteriorating and is currently surviving on fluid.

Boima said:” Doctors are recommending that he either be taken at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia or abroad for advanced medical treatment.”

He added that family members have spent all they had and are now making an SOS call for financial assistance to underwrite the medical bill of their brother.
