Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Kissiku Sentences 29 Year-Old Man to Five Years…

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in Grand Gedeh County, Zubalah Kissiku, has sentenced a twenty-nine-year-old man to five years imprisonment for raping a ninety-one-year-old woman.

Convict Franklin Gobah committed the act in May, last year, at the home of the victim.

ELBC Grand Gedeh County Correspondent said:” Following the incident, health practitioners confirmed that the ninety-one-year-old woman was tampered with.”

Convict Gobah has since denied the allegation.

Our Correspondent quotes Judge Kissiku as saying the act of the perpetrator breached Section 14.70 of the Penal Law of the Country.

Meanwhile, the convict is currently serving his jail term at the Palace of Correction in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County.
