Commerce Minister Modad Refutes Media Reports…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Commerce has termed untrue media reports, suggesting that he purchased an expensive vehicle worth over ninety-six thousand US Dollars.

Minister Amin Modad said:” I remain committed to promoting transparency and accountability, evidenced by the early declaration of my assets to the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC).”

The Commerce Minister was speaking on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the MICAT Regular Press Briefing in Monrovia.

Minister Modad also cautioned Liberian Journalists to always verify their reportage to avoid spreading misinformation and disinformation to the public.

Commerce Minister Amin Modad said misinformation and disinformation have the propensity to cause and undermine the Country’s developmental gains.
