At the same time, the People’s Republic of China has committed itself to supporting Liberia’s development drive.

Chinese President, Xi Jinping, said the relationship between China and Liberia continues to expand to noble heights.

President Xi also encouraged Liberian President, Joseph Boakai, to remain steadfast to China-Liberia relations.

Responding, President Joseph Boakai, expressed confidence that the China-Liberia relationship will be further enhanced.

President Boakai said this is evidenced by the signing of the Maritime Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries to improve Liberia’s Maritime Sector.
