MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has vowed to ensure investment confidence between the Liberian Government and development partners.

President Boakai pledged his Government’s commitment to ensuring that investments are more secure, stable, and profitable.

The Liberian Leader also promised to lead by example with no tolerance for theft of public property.

He said:” My Government is ready to build a vibrant nation that everyone can be proud of.”

President Joseph Boakai pledged on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, when he addressed the Liberia 2024 Investment Conference taking place in Congo Town.

At the same town, the Senior Political Advisor to the President, MacDella Cooper, has assured of the Liberian Government’s preparedness to remove obstacles in doing business in Liberia.

Madam Cooper pledged the Government’s commitment to enforcing policies that will promote good business practices.

She told a group of investors at the ongoing Conference that President Boakai is committed to leading a transparent and accountable Government.

The Senior Political Advisor to the President also disclosed that the Government is holding people accountable for their stewardships to discourage what he calls “business as usual” in the governance system of the Country.
