MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has congratulated the Government and people of Burkina Faso on the occasion marking the 64th Independence Anniversary of that Country today, August 5.
According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, President Boakai extended sincere best wishes to Burkina Faso on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia.
The Liberian Leader expressed hope that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.
President Boakai said:” I look forward to continued collaboration with Captain Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso, as we work together for the promotion of regional and international peace and security.”
President Joseph Boakai then prayed that God would continue to endow President Traore with abundant wisdom and strength to lead his people to greater prosperity.
