MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Director of Communication at the Paynesville City Corporation (PCC) has clarified that the ongoing exercise by the PCC in Red Light is not aimed at relocating marketers to the Omega General Market.

Jeremiah Diggen disclosed that the exercise is intended to prevent street vendors from selling along the main pavement of the road.

Mr. Diggen told ELBC over the weekend that the move is also intended to curb traffic congestion and enforce safety measures against road accidents.

The PCC Head of Communication has urged street vendors to abide by the new policy or risk the consequences of the law.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah Diggen has reassured the public of the full implementation of the City Ordinances for the good of the Country and its people.
